The top end of the game on WoW is raiding. It is the biggest baddest fights you can do in the game. Of course you can be a little millionaire and beat up others in PVP, but to really show your dedication to everyone including your guild members is to go into raids and come out with awesome gear that lets you fight all the big bad bosses.
It can be a little scary to get started in raiding when you first get to the max level however. Many hours of practice and patience is needed to learn how to do so, and you need others in order to gear up yourself to through the lower tier of end game. Anyone who is wanting to begin raiding can follow these three easy steps to begin your journey through the lower end of content to get to the point where you can raid.
A good guild is absolutely necessary to begin the whole process of raiding. These are people you will be working with every single day. That is a lot of time spent getting your skills up to par and showing the guild you are useful. Make sure to look in to what guilds need of you so you can do well. Make sure you have plenty of gold and preform well when doing pugs. If you show your guild you are a self starter you will be perfectly capable of joining a good guild. Always remain professional when you deal with a guild. The big guilds want to avoid drama at all costs when they raid.
The issue that crops up in most cases is that the raider is not quite geared enough for the dungeon that he is attempting to join in on. Once you get to level 80 you will need to do the normal dungeons, then you progress to heroic ones, afterward is 10 man raiding, then you go on to 25 man raiding. No one wants to carry someone who went straight from normal dungeons to 25 man raiding. You will only be a problem if you try to do this.
Finally if you take anything from this guide, make sure you realize that you need to practice and research. You have to make sure you know each boss fight and most importantly, how your class works. Watching boss kill videos and reading up on what each boss can do is highly important. Even try practicing on lower end continent that might not be a challenge just to stay sharp. As you become a better player you will find the higher level content will not be a struggle in the slightest. If you truly want to be a skilled raider, there are many things you must first do, and practice is the forefront.
It is best to go off on excursions with others who have the same thing in mind to practice your skills and develop your rotations. Make sure you take your time to learn how each raid works and you too can progress to even the top content. You will walk out truly epiced out in the end.
